Dawn is a Senior Associate of Ranmore Consulting and has particular expertise
in strategic leadership, team development, executive coaching and change
management with extensive practical experience within Higher Education and
Health Service fields. She is also a member of the team delivering the Leadership
Foundation for Higher Education Top Management Programme.
Some examples of the kind of issues with which she has recent experience
include:
- Working with clients undertaking major change and restructuring.
- Facilitating team development and conflict resolution.
- Coaching individual executives in considering and undertaking significant
career moves.
- Providing key note lectures and facilitating workshops for interprofessional
Education both in the UK, Australasia and in developing
countries.
- Facilitating Universities and awarding bodies with the employer
engagement agenda.
She has published extensively on many aspects of Leadership and Management
and is recognised internationally for her expertise in Inter-Professional Education.
Dawn held the post of Dean and Professor for 12 years whilst she worked at the
University of Derby and Sheffield Hallam University. During this time she was
involved in numerous cross University projects and including corporate and
strategic planning at the time of merging a Further Education College into the
University of Derby. She was also a Non-Executive Director of Trent Strategic
Health Authority for 4 years.
Dawn has a MBA and PhD from Sheffield Hallam University Business School and
is accredited to use the Margerison & McCann team management and Thomas
International development tools.
Finally, Dawn is an Adjunct Professor at Auckland University of Technology and
Hong Kong Polytechnic University and European representative for the Network:
Towards Unity for Health, which is closely linked with the World Health
Organisation.
